Weddings at Lytham Hall

Welcome to Lytham Hall
Lytham Hall is one of only two grade I listed buildings in the Fylde. Built by John Carr of York in the 1750's for Thomas Clifton, it is a perfect example of a Georgian Country House and stands in almost 80 acres of wooded parkland. The Hall is at the end of a mile drive and surrounded on all sides by trees which adds to the overwhelming feeling of privacy and seclusion.

Civil ceremonies
Lytham Hall is as an ideal venue for Civil Ceremonies and guests can circulate in the elegant main Entrance Hall with its stone flagged floor and rococo-style wall and ceiling decoration. There are choices for the ceremony and the reception.
The Gillow Room with its splendid alcove servery by Gillow of Lancaster, where you will be surrounded by paintings of the Clifton Family (licensed for 60) Dining Room
The Gold Room, decorated with richly ornate hand-painted wallpaper and gold-leaf ceiling high mirrors (licensed for 60) Gold Room
The Clifton Room in the West Wing, with oak beams and a high pitched roof (licensed for over 120 guests) Clifton Room
A Marquee on the front lawn Marquee
Drinks reception
Post-ceremony drinks are usually served in the Entrance Hall where guests can circulate on the front lawn in the summer months or relax around the blazing log fire in the colder months whilst the wedding photographs are being taken. Guests will then be escorted through our courtyard to their wedding breakfast in the West Wing or across to the marquee depending on your choice of setting.

Photography
Photographs may be taken in and around Lytham Hall, on the magnificent double staircase or outside the Hall and in the grounds where we have a fishing lake, a lily pond and a dovecote as well as the extensive woodlands. It is recommended that your chosen photographer visit us prior to the day to fully appreciate the photographic possibilities whilst capturing your special day.

Wedding reception
We can accommodate approximately 100 for a sit down meal in our newly refurbished West Wing and approximately 150 for an evening reception/dance. Alternatively we can have a marquee on the front lawn for your reception or smaller intimate dinners depending on numbers.
